Joe Fidler was born in Shamokin, a small coal mining community in central
Pennsylvania north of Harrisburg. He is a graduate of Shamokin High School and
East Stroudsburg University, where he earned his B.S. degree in secondary
education. At East Stroudsburg he was a member of the wrestling team and three
times president of his class. After teaching high school and
coaching football and wrestling in suburban Philadelphia, Joe sampled
careers in medicine, insurance, and contracting, before discovering his true
passion for sales. He's spent the last 25 years as a salesman/manager and
trainer. As a salesman he has been a top ten performer (of
500), winning numerous national awards, prizes, and trips. When serving as a
Regional Manager, he coached his teams to national recognition in differing
sales assignments in Connecticut, New Jersey and Maryland. As Midwest Manager
in Chicago, he implemented a sales call strategy, leading his 100 man sales
force to new company records in profitability. Promoted to Director of Sales
& Marketing Training, he assembled a world-class sales training program
that resulted in a record sales performance for 1,000 salespeople, and in
winning international recognition from the professional trainers association.
This program has since been copyrighted and translated into 20 languages with
over 16,000 users worldwide. As president of Fidler Partners &
Associates, Inc., Joe's mission is to help corporations and individuals
improve their sales and the quality of their lives through sales-skill
training. Our most basic philosophy is that sales skills are acquired through a
sequential process over time, not during a single event, and for that reason we
offer integrated building block courses that focus on all elements of the sales
cycle. |
